How to choose the right industry for my account?
Instead of choosing an industry, RadioUp allows you to define your listening audience by selecting the targeting criteria for each campaign.
If I live outside the US, can I run ads?
Currently RadioUp™ is available to businesses established within the US, targeting listeners across the US.
Can I partner with RadioUp™?
You can inquire with our Partnerships team by email. An introduction into who you are, and what your business or organization does is always helpful.
Is it okay to advertise CBD products?
It depends on if our publishers will allow it. We ask that all CBD advertisers submit their ad script for us to get approval. The failure to do so may get your ad blocked.

How do I pay?
You can pay by wire transfer, check or with a major credit or debit card.
What is the minimum spend amount
$500.00 per campaign
How much does RadioUp™ cost?
We charge a flat rate based upon impressions/listens. That rate includes targeting, display ad hosting, and monthly reporting – with no additional fees.
How often will I be billed?
RadioUp™ will charge your credit card each time you hit your billing threshold across all running campaigns and/or at the end of each month. The default threshold is $500.00.
How do I pay for each campaign?
Just submit your credit card once with your sales representative. Every campaign you run will get charged against it.
Do you allow alternative payment methods for bigger spenders?
We do offer invoicing as a payment method but have a minimum spend requirement. To request more information on our invoicing solution, please contact us.
What currencies do you accept?
At this time, you can purchase RadioUp™ ads only with the US dollar.

How can I target by location?
You can target the location of listeners on RadioUp™ by using any of the below options: state, county, city and even hyper-local by zip code.
How can I target by zip code?
Just submit your desired zip code with your sales representative when you set-up your campaign.
How can I target by music genre?
Just submit your desired music genre with your sales representative when you set-up your campaign.
Can I advertise on podcasts?
Yes, you can! It falls under spoken word content in music genre targeting.
Can I run a Spanish language audio ad?
Just submit your campaign in Spanish with your sales representative when you set-up your campaign. Need an audio ad made in Spanish? Our creative service has the option to create Spanish language ads.

How to set the right budget for my campaign?
  • Setting the right budget can be a key aspect for running a successful campaign. Here are the most important things to know about how campaign budgeting works in RadioUp™:
      • Minimum campaign budget is $500.00.
      • Budgets can range from the minimum up to several thousands.
      • The budget you set is distributed throughout your campaign duration.
      • Your budget will dictate how many listeners and impressions
      • You’ll only be charged for your actual campaign spend. We do that gradually until the budget is reached or the campaign ends.
How does campaign scheduling work?
  • You can set the dates and times you want your campaign to automatically start and finish
  • Hourly scheduling is a simple way to define the precise time of day and days of the week you want your ads to run as part of your campaign. Just let your sales representative know when you want your audio ad to run when you set-up your campaign.
Where will my campaigns run?

Currently, our partners include Pandora, iHeartRadio, and TuneIn. The impression distribution of your ad campaign can vary depending on the targeting criteria you set.

Can I select a single publisher?

You are not able to select a single publisher at this present time.

How do my ads get approved?
We listen and review every single ad that comes across our platform – and we will approve them accordingly within a few hours so your campaign can be up and running with minimal delays.
How many impressions and listeners will I reach with my targeting criteria?
The number of impressions and unique listeners you reach depend on the budget and targeting criteria you set in your campaign.
How to optimize targeting if my audience is broad?
When creating new campaigns your sales representative may make recommendations about sizing your audience to match your budget or the other way around. These are only suggestions and you can set your criteria as you wish.
How to fix targeting when my audience is too narrow?

When creating new campaigns in RadioUp™ it is important to acknowledge when your targeting is too strict resulting in a very narrow audience

Fixing this is very easy and you have two major options:

  • Extend your campaign duration
  • Allow us to broaden your targeting criteria for your campaign.
What are your audio ad specs?

If you have an audio ad ready or you can create one yourself, you can send it to your sales representative

It must be 30 seconds or less in one of the following supported formats:

  • mp3
  • wma
  • wav
How long will my ad run?

You can select your campaign start and end dates when setting up your audio campaign.

Reporting

What kind of reporting do I get?
We will report to you at the end of the campaign unless otherwise agreed.
How do you calculate LTR?

The LTR (listen-through-rate) represents the percentage of ad plays that were listened to in its entirety.

For example, if your LTR is being shown as 97%. That just means 97% of those who listened to your ad, heard it the whole way through.

Ad Creation

How do I request an audio ad?
Just let your sales representative know you need to have an audio ad created when you set-up your campaign. We will have our team of professional voice actors create an ad in approximately 3 – 5 business days (sometimes sooner) and bill your account.
What if I'm unhappy with my ad, can I ask for a revision?
Just submit the revisions to your sales representative. An updated ad will be sent to you in 2 – 3 business days. Just remember that you’re entitled to one free revision for each ad request.
Can you help me write my audio ad script?
Yes we can! Just let your sales representative know you need to have an audio ad script created when you set-up your campaign. We will have our team of ad writers create an ad in 2 – 3 business days and bill your account.
Can I use my own background music for my ad request?
Yes you can! We just ask that you provide a license or some form of written consent from the rights holder beforehand.
Do you offer translation services?
Although we do support Spanish ads, we don’t offer translation services at this time.

Campaign Management

Why did my campaign end up not spending the entire budget?

Campaigns usually meet their budget objectives. However, sometimes actual spend may be lower than the budget goal.

Here are some possible reasons why this may happen:

  • Narrow targeting
  • Aggressive hourly scheduling
  • Issue with payment
  • Ads being blocked.
How is my budget distributed throughout my campaign duration?

Our systems strive to distribute your budget evenly across your campaign dates.

For example, if you set a $500 budget for a campaign to run for a number of 5 days, you can expect to record an actual campaign spend of roughly $100 each day.

Please be aware of the following:

  • Spending your entire budget depends on your targeting rules.
  • Budget distribution is dependent on listeners and may not be exactly equal every day.
  • If you target a very narrow audience, you may end up spending less.
  • The budget you set is your max budget – you will never pay more.
Can I edit my ad campaign after launch?

Yes but we prefer to set up and let it run to get the best out of it.

Can I pause or stop my ad campaign after launch?

We recommend against it but we can pause your campaign if absolutely necessary.
